What the first 60 days would look like: a modeled scenario
STANDFIRST: This article is a modeled scenario, not a real client. No company sits behind the text. It describes the first 60 days of a Spanish startup hiring two technical roles in Vietnam. It is based on the five steps Vantu publishes on its website. The figures are projections, and any timing not yet verified appears as PENDIENTE.
Starting point
In the scenario, a Spanish logistics startup has just closed its seed round. It has two technical roles open and nobody with time to manage a hire outside Spain. The CTO splits the week between product and interviews, and the interviews lose.
Profile of the scenario company
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Sector | Logistics |
| Size | 25 employees |
| Funding | Seed round closed |
| Technical need | Two technical profiles at once (for example, backend and QA) |
Projected results at a glance
- Roles filled: 2, the minimum Vantu needs to start a project (projection).
- Days to the first hire: PENDIENTE: timing of the headhunting step published by Vantu (projection).
- Contact with the team: weekly sessions during the first months (projection, based on Vantu's process).
Context
A 25-person company with a closed round has budget but little time. Every week the roles stay open delays a specific product delivery.
The scenario assumes the company has already tried two routes. The first was to post the roles in Spain and interview for weeks. The second was to hire a freelancer for a single task, who left when the job ended and took the knowledge of the code along.
The scenario assumes the company looks at Vietnam because it can build a team there without competing for the same candidates as others in Madrid or Barcelona. It would rule out platforms that only handle the contract, because it needs someone to follow the relationship with the team after the first week.
The challenge
Hiring without knowing the market
Nobody in the company knows the technical job market in Vietnam. They do not know which profiles exist, how candidates are interviewed or what they expect from a European employer.
A legal contract that is not theirs
The company has no entity in Vietnam. It needs a licensed local party to sign the contracts, run payroll and meet local rules. The CTO should not have to read a single page of Vietnamese paperwork.
Keeping the team a team
With a five or six hour time difference depending on the time of year, distance matters. If nobody listens to the team in its own language, problems arrive as a resignation instead of a conversation.
The solution: five steps
The process follows the five steps Vantu publishes. The timing of each one is PENDIENTE until confirmed with Vantu (PENDIENTE: link to the website page with the timings).
- Discovery call. The company explains its roles, the level it needs and its calendar. Vantu assesses the fit. Timing: days 0 to 15.
- HR policies. The HR policies for the team are agreed. Exact content: PENDIENTE. Timing: days 16 to 23.
- Headhunting. Vantu searches for candidates in Vietnam against the agreed profile and presents a shortlist. Timing: days 24 to 45.
- Hiring and report. The chosen candidates are hired through a licensed local partner, and the step closes with a report on the process. Timing: days 46 to 60.
- Ongoing support. Sessions with the team in Vietnamese and with the company, weekly in the first months and monthly from the third. Timing: no end date, for as long as the relationship lasts.
The results: what would happen by day 60
Everything below is a projection. No figure is a measured result.
Roles filled (projection: 2). Vantu does not start a project with a single hire, so the model assumes both roles close within the period. If one were still open at day 60, the scenario would not have held.
Days to the first hire (PENDIENTE). This is the figure a startup cares about most, and today it cannot be given. It depends on the timing of step 3, which Vantu has not yet confirmed for this article.
Contact with the team (projection: weekly cadence). By day 60 the team would have had several weeks of sessions in Vietnamese. The exact number depends on when each person joins, and that is also PENDIENTE.
What the model does not promise: that nothing goes wrong. In a real process, someone may decline an offer or a profile may not fit. That is why this text is not a case study: a case would say what failed and how it was fixed, and here nothing happened.
Comparison with two other routes
A qualitative estimate from the model, with no measured figures.
| Route | Time to have the team | Management effort left with the client | Risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vantu in Vietnam | PENDIENTE | Low on contracts and payroll; the company still sets priorities | Depends on one provider and one local partner |
| Hiring in Spain | PENDIENTE | High: selection, contracts and follow-up all sit with the company | A role stays open for a long time if the local market is tight |
| Hiring freelancers | PENDIENTE | Medium: no employment contract, but each assignment is coordinated separately | The knowledge leaves when the assignment ends |
FAQ
Has this happened to anyone for real? No. It is a modeled scenario. It does not describe any Vantu client.
Are the 60 days a promise? No. They are a model. The timing of each step shows as PENDIENTE until Vantu confirms it.
What if I only need to hire one person? Vantu starts projects with a minimum of two technical roles. If you need only one, the discovery call is the place to assess your case.
Who is the legal employer in Vietnam? A licensed local partner. Vantu manages the relationship with the team, not the legal contract.
Transparency box
This article is a model. It does not report events that happened or describe a Vantu client.
It is built on the five steps Vantu publishes on its website (PENDIENTE: link to the page and verification of the timings; the 1 October 2026 check could not open the website). The session cadence, the two-role minimum and employment through a local partner come from Vantu process documents, not public sources (PENDIENTE: public link that confirms them). It carries no prices because Vantu does not publish them.
Closing
If your company looks like this profile, the next step is the discovery call. You explain your roles and your calendar, and Vantu tells you which real timings apply. Book on the Vantu website (PENDIENTE: link to the booking page).
